Distinguished academic leader and Senior IEEE Member, Fellow of IEI & IIPE, with over three decades of experience in higher education, research supervision, and institutional development. Currently serving as Director (Operations) and formerly as Principal of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology,
Bengaluru.
A visionary educator with a deep commitment to academic excellence, innovation in pedagogy, and outcome-based education, I have successfully led academic teams through multiple accreditations (NBA, NAAC) and guided the establishment of new engineering programs in both core and emerging
domains.
My research spans Computational Engineering, with a strong focus on 3D Printing, Aerospace Materials, CAD/CAM, and Sustainable Development. I have guided five Ph.D. scholars and am presently supervising four more under VTU
Driven by the belief that “education must empower innovation,” I continue to contribute for faculty mentoring, student research, and Industry collaboration to prepare future-ready engineers.
