DTC Infotech Empowers ACET Students with Intensive AI/ML Workshop
Aditya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Bangalore, recently hosted a highly engaging and informative three-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), conducted in collaboration with DTC Infotech. The workshop, held on April 15, 2025, aimed to provide students with a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical applications. Throughout the workshop, experienced data scientists from DTC Infotech, Vishal Kumar and KVS Shetty, shared their expertise and insights. Vishal Kumar, with his extensive background in data analysis, ML, and AI, guided students through the practical aspects of data manipulation and model building. KVS Shetty, specializing in App Modernization, GenAI, and Data Science, provided valuable insights into the application of AI/ML in corporate settings.
The workshop was a resounding success, equipping the students of ACET with a solid foundation in AI/ML. The hands-on sessions and real-world examples provided a practical understanding of the concepts, preparing them for future endeavours in this rapidly evolving field. DTC Infotech’s commitment to fostering AI/ML talent was evident throughout the workshop, leaving a lasting impact on the students and the college.
Silicon Synergy Industry Connect At Bmsit Visited By Our Acet Students
As part of our ongoing Industry Connect initiative, a group of our students visited Industry Connect organized by BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT) to gain valuable insights into current industry trends and enhance their practical knowledge. The visit aimed to meet more than 20 CEO’s to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to:
- Interact with faculty and industry experts associated with BMSIT.
- Learn about ongoing industry-academia collaboration projects.
- Attend sessions on current technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Explore possible internship and placement opportunities through networking.

ACET Students Embark on an Educational Visit to Gauribidanur
As part of our commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences, Aditya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) organized a one-day educational visit to the Radio Observatory, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, and Raman Research Institute in Gauribidanur.
A group of enthusiastic 2nd-year students, accompanied by senior faculty members, embarked on this exciting journey. The team was led by Prof. B. A. Patil, Research Advisor, ThinkIT Labs, and included Prof. Pavendhan, Senior Research Coordinator, and Prof. Ramya.
During the visit, our students gained valuable insights into radio astronomy and astrophysics. They had the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and learn about the latest research and developments in these areas.
This educational visit was a unique opportunity for our students to explore the wonders of space and enhance their knowledge in radio astronomy and astrophysics. We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm and dedication to learning!
Developing AI Models using Vision Studio

Inauguration: The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Prasad Naik, Principal, ACET. Dr. Naik emphasized the importance of AI and machine learning in today’s technology-driven world and encouraged participants to make the most of this learning opportunity. Objective: The objective of this one-week hands-on workshop was to equip participants with the skills to develop AI models using Vision Studio.

The event brought together experts, faculty, and students from various departments, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing. The workshop’s objective was achieved, and participants gained valuable skills and insights into industry-relevant tools and technologies.
