The Department of Computer Science and allied branches of Aditya College of Engineering and Technology organized a One-Day Workshop on “Mini Project Ideation and Execution” on 23rd August 2025 as part of the Skill Development Program. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Snigdha Sen, Senior Assistant Professor, MIT, Bangalore.
The program began with a formal inaugural session, where Dr. Naveen Kumar C, Professor and Head,Department of CSE, welcomed the resource person and participants. Dr. Snigdha Sen, with her vast expertise in research and academic innovation, delivered an insightful session highlighting the significance of mini projects in enhancing students’ analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
The workshop focused on the following key areas:
- Approaches to generating innovative and feasible project ideas.
- Identifying real-world problems and converting them into practical mini project proposals.
- Systematic steps for planning, executing, and documenting projects.
- Importance of teamwork, time management, and technical presentation skills.
Students actively participated in brainstorming sessions, where they discussed preliminary ideas and received constructive guidance from the resource person. Dr. Sen also motivated the participants to align their projects with emerging technologies and industry needs, thus preparing them for future academic and professional challenges.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of CSE and allied branches, and it provided them with clarity on project ideation and execution. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Naveen Kumar C, acknowledging Dr. Snigdha Sen for her valuable contribution and the management for their continuous support in conducting such skill-oriented programs.
